MANUFACTURING PLANTS' UNIQUE INHERENT RISKS

HVAC work for Industrial clients requires specialized shop and field skills, equipment, rigging, safety procedures and installation know-how.

industrial facilities fully understand the adage  “Time is money”

Over the history of our company, Arctic has performed numerous projects for the pulp and paper, forest products and food processing industries that fall into this category. Heavier gauges of construction and equipment that is much larger than is typically encountered on most commercial projects requires specialized shop techniques, skills, certification and special attention to performing the work safely. Though Arctic is not a structural steel  fabricator, the fabrication of large size, heavy-gauge ductwork, plenums, duct supports and associated process ventilation equipment begins to take on the attributes of steel fabrication.

Arctic has an in-house AWS certified weld examiner-inspector, weld procedures for all types of industrial ductwork and secondary support steel. We also maintain SMACNA approved HVAC and Industrial duct fabrication standards and a full Quality Assurance Program to ensure that our work will meet even the most stringent customer specifications. Our Safety Manual provides standards, policies and guidelines for work around moving machinery, hazardous energy, heat, elevated surfaces, chemicals and all of the known risks encountered in industrial/manufacturing settings. We have the knowledge and staff experience to do almost any type of industrial ventilation project.
